Beth's You Capture assignment this week is Fall and I was pretty excited about that since I know what glorious pictures can be shot in the Fall. And I'm still looking forward to seeing what other people got from different areas of the country but it seemed like our Fall color show disappeared rather quickly - and just before I got my pictures.
We took a little trip last Sunday and I took these:
Then I turned to our backyard where the dogwood tree had completely changed color.
And the new colors of hydrangea changed it into a completely different looking flower:
As I mow-raked I noticed that the few leaves left on the redbud looked kind of suspended in the air.
And I really liked the background colors for this one:
And finally the purple leafed sand cherry that provided that background color.

ReplyDeletethe first photo is my favorite :) and i really like the one of the leaves suspended in air. we go up to virginia sometimes and i've picked these heart shaped leaves up off a sidewalk. had no idea what they were, though :)
