Things kept me from capturing this week. One of the best of those things was a new great grandbaby so it's okay. I went out this morning to see if I could capture some Harvest type photos and here's what I came up with.
And finally some ready-to-harvest soybeans. It occurred to me that a lot of people may have never seen a field of soybeans.
So that's it. Next week I vow not to wait for the last and, of course, dreariest day of the week to capture. Besides that, I noticed those Fall colors are fading fast.

I'm pretty impressed for waiting til the last minute, I really like these, my favorite is the one with the trailer next to the corn stalks. I really like it a lot! Nice!
ReplyDeleteI think you've captured Harvesting beautifully. I love the shots you have taken. Believe it or not I grew up on a soybean and rice farm in Arkansas. I still live here but my parents retired from farming a few years ago. I wish I would have had the foresight to have captured pictures over the years of them farming and of course of the farm itself.
ReplyDeleteWhere do you live? If I might ask. I do believe I will add your blog to my site for more reading. I too, am a grandmother, but only have three for now.
Great job! You've caught the fall season perfectly. I love the first one, reminds me of Nebraska and where I run. All of the pictures are exceptional - as usual! Nicely done.
