Anna Helen

Today was Anna 11th birthday.  She was our 12th grandchild and 5th granddaughter and she was born in Chicago.
Anna is an important part of this large family...
And an even more important part of this smaller family.
Here is Anna, pictorially, 'through the years'.

Anna is a bright, beautiful, loving girl with a quirky sense of humor.  She's an awesome big sister and a loving cousin, daughter, granddaughter, and friend to all.
So Happy Birthday, Anna!  We're so glad we got to spend the day with you and we're wishing you a year filled with more Principal's Honor Roles, softball all summer, and more Student of the Month honors in 6th grade.

Noah Daniel

Today is Noah's 10th birthday.  He is our 13th grandchild and 8th grandson.
He's a very important part of this very large family.
And an even more important part of this smaller family.
Here is Noah 'pictorially' through the years.

Noah is a sweet, loving boy who gets along well with everyone he meets.  He's an excellent student and has an amazing capacity for understanding and caring about the feelings of others.
So Happy Birthday, Noah!  And enjoy the coming year when you'll be in the Boy Scouts Soapbox Derby, play summer baseball, and advance to Intermediate School in the Fall.

Jack Victor

Jack Victor was born on January 14, 2009.  He was our very first great grandchild and he came on the heels of a dream that his great grandfather had in which a super baby was born.  And Jack has lived up to that dream from the get go.

As I go through the files for these last two birthday posts, I'm reminded over and over what a lucky grandma/great grandma I am.  Jack is also a kind and loving person.  He's well liked by his peers and teachers alike.  He's good to his siblings and his cousins adore him.
So Happy 5th Birthday, Jack.  Enjoy your coming year full of new experiences, more school where your brother, Dane, will be joining you, and lots of learning which we know you love.   We couldn't be more proud of you and we're so happy that you're our GREAT grandson!

And that's David 'through the years'.  As I wend my way through his file, the smile never leaves my face because although he's changed and grown and matured, the person that is David and always has been David has never changed.  He was and still is the sweetest, kindest, most loving boy imaginable.  We are beyond proud of him and know how blessed we are to have him for a grandson.

Happy Birthday, David!  Enjoy your year ahead where you'll get your driver's license, become an Eagle Scout, and continue to hone your basketball skills.  You are one awesome kid!!!

Note.  I previously wrote about David in 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.
