Visiting and Taking Pictures

Since our granddaughter had her third child and first daughter on October 28th, I've been able to visit her three times. That's a real record because it's a three hour and fifteen minute drive.

Of course, it will come as no surprise that I've taken lots of pictures during these visits and Amber has taken some herself that she's shared with me. Here's a sampling of our joint effort.

Aubrey's first bath and how much she didn't like it.

How she held on for dear life. Look how white her little fingers are.

What she really thought about the whole ordeal.

And how happy she was when it was over.

Then how much she'd changed just a few days later.

Big brother, Jack.

And second brother, Dane. Here's he checking out his great grandpa.

I got some shots of Dad with his two sons.

And Mom with her new daughter.

The kids.

And of course the all-important first family pictures.

And finally my favorite. The shot I got just before the photo shoot fell apart.

Thanks Amber and Chris. I love visiting you and your family and capturing all the pictures - the unplanned as well as the planned!

  2. What a beautiful new grand daughter you have. As well as very handsome young grandsons. The baby girl is just adorable and looks so much like her older brothers.

  3. Well of course I can't even put into words how much I LOVE this post. My beautiful daughter and her awesome husband with my amazing grandchildren. I feel so proud when I read this and see the pictures, I could just burst! I'm so glad you've been able to be there 3 times already, I know how much it means to her! I just LOVE all of the pictures so much, but my favorite for sure is the last one with the whole family and Amber laughing so hard with her head back. For some reason it chokes me up! Awesome post!!!!
