Amber Lynn

Twenty-six years ago today, our lives were changed in a beautiful way.  Our first granddaughter, in fact first grandchild by several years, was born.  And all of a sudden our entire family of eight was head over heals in love with her.
Amber is a very important part of this large family.
and a very important part of this small family

And this larger small family

And an extremely important part of this small, large family.
Here are some random shots of Amber 'through the years'.

I always said she was the best plaything her aunts and uncles ever got because they never tired of playing with her.
And she couldn't get enough of the time she spent with them.
She was incredibly cute,
Happy,
and sweet.
And she loved animals as well as every, single person she met.
She's always had an incredible sense of style with hats being her fashion accessory of choice.

She's an amazing dancer.

And she's always been very sweet about letting her grandma have photo shoots with her.

She does not have a tattoo,
She adores her younger siblings,

And in 2008, her life changed drastically.

 Resulting in these blessings.
 because of this blessing.

And that's pretty much the story of this beautiful girl's life.  These pictures tell you about a lot of the important events in Amber's life.
But they don't tell you the most important things about her.  Like what a loving, kind, sweet, thoughtful, sensitive, helpful, perfect granddaughter, daughter, mother, wife, and friend she is.  They don't tell you how generous she is in spirit and love and that she doesn't have an unkind bone in her body.  And they don't tell you what a wonderful, conscientious all-around great person she is.  So I will.  She's all of these things and more.  I get teary eyed when I think of the blessing this girl has always been to us.
And because of all these things and because we love her so much, we're wishing her the best birthday she's ever had but one that's only half as good as the many, many more to come.
