Chris Jon

Today is our grandson-in-law, Chris', birthday.

We were first introduced to Chris back in 2008 and at that time he usually looked like this.
And shortly after that he looked like this.
Before we knew it he looked like this.
 then this,
It was really pretty rare to catch a picture of Chris like this.
Because more than more he seemed to have his hands full.  Soon his pictures looked like this.
And he was even one of the 'stars of the show' in my favorite picture entitled 'When Photo Shoots Fall Apart'.
And all too soon Chris' pictures looked like this one taken during one of Beth's photo shoots.  It's funny how her photo shoots don't seem to fall apart like mine do.  LOL
You would think I'd be able to catch pictures of Chris like this more often.
But when he's not with his wife or his kids, he's usually working ....like this.

 or like this....
The important thing though is that he really is an important part of this large family.
An even more important part of this smaller family.
And an extremely important part of this little (but big) family.
And the most important thing of all is that Chris is truly a wonderful person.  He's loving, thoughtful, kind, hard-working; and an amazing husband and father.  We consider ourselves truly blessed to have him in our family (good work, Amber) and we enjoy every moment we get to spend with him.  (He probably can't say the same because when he's here, he's always helping.) What a gem!
So we're wishing you, Chris, the happiest of birthdays and a year filled with success, love, and fun and not too many renovations on our house.
