Today is Patty's Birthday!

Patty is married to our 4th child and 2nd son, Dave.  She is a very important part of this large family.

And a very important part of this beautiful family.

I wrote about Patty on her birthday last year in this post and visiting there will take you to links to all her previous posts that show how she's changed through the years so I'll just post a few pictures here.

and talk about her life during the previous year.  It's been a busy one for her but they all are.  She and Dave have always encouraged their children to be active in sports and extracurricular activities and that has resulted in a very busy schedule for the whole family.  Although for the first time Katie is not playing volleyball this year and David is going to school in Pennsylvania,  Matthew and Zachary have done a good job picking up the slack.  Zachary played basketball, soccer and baseball in two different leagues while Matthew played basketball and JV football as well as some varsity football.  Both boys were also very active in Boy Scouts.

So in addition to the kids activities, Patty works full time as an Assistant Principal.  She also has two furbabies who adore her, Scout and Charley.  Here they all are in the brand new three season room that they added to their house this year.

And there's lots more to say about Patty than what's been keeping her busy this year.  She's sweet and loving and the most kind-hearted person you could ever meet.

She's cheerful and fun-loving,

and always considerate of the feelings of others.

For all these reasons and so many more, we love her and could not be more proud of her!  So Happy Birthday, Patty.  We're hoping your day has been wonderful but only half as wonderful as every day in the coming year!
