Happy Birthday, Eli

Eli's third birthday was last Friday and I'm just now getting his post up.  I started in a timely manner with his birthday interview last Thursday night but, as you'll see, it didn't give me much to work with.

Because sometimes when you're two and your birthday is the next day, you'd rather be silly and quirky than try to figure out answers to your grandma's serious questions.

So there was that and then there was Easter weekend.  To the future Eli, please don't be offended that this is so late.  Just try not to have your birthday on Easter weekend in the future.

Anyway, here's how that birthday interview(?) went.

What’s your favorite color?  White

What do you like to play the most?  Bowling

What’s your favorite toy?  Bowling

Do you know any songs?  No

Do you have a little sister?  Yeah, she's Clara.

Can I take a picture of you with Clara.  No

And that pretty well concluded our interview.  However, it will come as no surprise that there is so much more I could tell you about Eli!

He is and always has been adored by his big brother and sister.

He loves to hang out with his cousins - from the biggest....

to the littlest...

and likes to kick back with his little second cousins too.  (I promise these cans were never opened.  lol)

He loves to play outside.

Drive cars 

 or even just steer wheels.

 and work at his dad's desk....just like his dad.

All in all, he's one of the most well-rounded, sweetest, fun-loving little boys you could ever imagine.  And, although it's late, we're wishing this handsome boy the happiest year EVER (adorable bedhead and all)!
