The other day, though, I saw a dog that looked different from any dog I had seen there (or anywhere else for that matter). The person walking him stopped to chat and let me take a few pictures. I said I hadn't seen a dog like that and she said, no and you won't. Not in this area. Here he is:
Isn't he cute and foolish looking? (Do you know in what book the main character describes a cute animal as foolish looking?) Anyway this dog is a Berger Picard or Picardy Shepherd. The breed originates in France. Isn't he cute?I really enjoy walking at Streibel Pond where there's so much to see.
I think this needs to be one of the places we walk this summer. Don't you? The dog is adorable.
