You Capture - Signs

This week's You Capture subject is signs and who can think of signs without remembering the song by the Five Man Electrical Band (oh sure maybe someone younger). But who, my age, can think of signs without thinking of these lyrics:

"Sign, sign, everywhere a sign
Blockin' out the scenery, breakin' my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign?"

And then there are signs which require interpretation. When you see these signs, it's not too hard to figure out that summer is ending; winter is coming.

Most importantly, I shot most of my photos in 'manual' this week and didn't use a flash even in the lowest light. I feel great about that. Thanks, Beth!

  1. Oh! I always love coming here. You captured signs so perfectly! Wow. I LOVE your signs of fall. I am doing my very best to pretend I am NOT seeing those signs.... it just comes to quickly. Our summer was too good to be true. I don't want it to end. : (
PS Your park looks like it is so much fun!

  5. I love you signs of Fall best. That "low" golden light in the first leaf shot and the grass shot is what makes this time of year special. Nice captures!

  9. It's funny all your signs made me feel tense and angry (do this, don't do that, rules rules rules) and then you posted nature and I sighed, ahhh nature.
    Great Job!
